Astara Television Tower ((アゼルバイジャン語:Astara televiziya qüllə)), is a steel tall Azerbaijani lattice television tower located in the city of Astara, on the southeastern part of the Republic of Azerbaijan, thus the name. As the city of Astara was undergoing development during the late 20th century, a multi-purpose FM-/TV-broadcasting transmitting television tower was a necessity back then. As a result, the Astara TV Tower's construction was commenced in 1981. In the same year, after several months of construction, the Astara TV Tower was completed. To sum up, the television tower served its purposes for a total of 32 years.〔〔
